I am really sad to have to give 1 star as we were recommended P+R by friends. We planned our kitchen with Paul and were really pleased with the experience initially although the communication is a little minimalist. We used P+Rs recommended fitters who did as good of a job as was possible in the circumstances.
Unfortunately almost every door in our painted kitchen arrived damaged with odd black marks on door fronts, large paint chips on edges and even fronts of some doors. This would have been bad enough but after informing P+R we were told 6-8 weeks for replacement doors and then left. They avoided our calls, didn't email us updates, ignored relevant questions in emails. Overall the appalling customer service made the bad door situation a total mess. We weren't even told new doors would be arriving until the day before which left us scrambling to get things organised for workmen to arrive.
When the new doors did arrive they still had chips (albeit less and smaller ones), despite P+R assuring us they'd done a quality check the night before. Unfortunately I think this shows the attention to detail and quality just isn't there with P+R. When we informed P+R how upset we were that these new doors still had faults we were shouted at but the unpleasant matriach and told we were abusing her by not being happy with the product her family had provided!
Even the fitters were shocked by the poor quality and lack of quality check. The one who overheard the call with Mary did tell us not to be upset by it as that's apparently how she treats everyone!
Overall we have a kitchen which looks beautiful as long as you don't get too close too see the chips in the paint. We did get a refund of about 7% but I'd rather have just had an undamaged kitchen. It's a shame because it was a good design process and it's a nice kitchen but I could never ever recommend somewhere that handles customer service so poorly when it all goes wrong.

Having moved recently we approached P&R designs of Hillsborough to have Sliderobes built into our bedroom. We also wanted our utility room updated to match kitchen which had been updated a few years ago. Rebecca came out to our home & listened to what we wanted, measured areas & a few days later sent us emails with designs of above mentioned rooms with price. After visiting showroom Rebecca altered designs (a few times) for us. From the initial phone call to completion Rebecca gave us great advice, & her attention to detail was impressive. The fitters arrived on dates arranged. They were very professional, friendly & did a superb job in both our bedroom & utility rooms. We are delighted & would recommend this family company to anyone.
