Phillip is my best hairdresser. Phillip knows best what to with the hair. I am his happy client for some 14 years! If it happened to me to go somewhere else (really just a couple of times) it was only to prove there is no one better.
My fine thin hair thanks me after every visit at Phillip's.

Best hairdresser and colourist in Amsterdam! Phillip takes time to listen to what you'd like and communicates clearly about some options. I found him to be very professional, an expert with identifying the right colour that would work for me and also very nice! The salon is beautiful with relaxing music playing in the background and I loved my haircut and colour! Thanks so much Philipp!

Phillip uses techniques that I've never seen before and they work like magic - he made my hair lively again and truly enhanced my hairs natural waves/curls. One of the best hairdressers I've ever been to! Plus he doesn't try to sell you overpriced products - something I really appreciate. I will definitely be coming back, he's such a sweet, talented hairdresser!

via groupon een bon gekocht, maar door corona kon de afspraak niet doorgaan. toen de kappers weer open gingen en ik een afspraak wilde maken moest ik opnieuw de volle prijs voor een knipbeurt betalen. in deze tijd waarin iedereen het financieel zwaar heeft en best een meeting halfway (bv de prijs die ik heb betaald voor de groupon in mindering brengen op het totaalbedrag) bespreekbaar zou zijn geweest voor mij denkt deze man alleen aan zichzelf en gaat helemaal voor zijn eigen winst. ook bij het eerder maken van de afspraak was deze meneer erg onaardig en chagrijnig aan de telefoon, helaas had ik de bon toen al gekocht. maar na nu nog een vervelende ervaring ben ik blij dat ik niet door deze kapper geknipt ben en ik zal hier zeker nooit naartoe gaan en deze kapper aan niemand aanbevelen.

Best haircut I have had in a while! 2 months later my haircut still looks amazing! He really knows what he is doing. I have received so many compliments and also suggested him to many friends. I got a Groupon for this haircut but would totally pay full price next time, totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Ik bezocht Philips knipsalon met een actievoucher. Ik ben super goed geknipt door Philip. Hij neemt de tijd, knipt kundig en geeft goed advies (heel eerlijk). Heel blij met het resultaat, zou een bezoek aan hem zeker herhalen en aanraden!

I don't know where all these good reviews are from! I was looking forward to it but it was probably the worse hairdresser experience of my whole life. He was super upset from the beginning. He has no idea how to untangle long hair and then was upset at me when it was painful or moving my head of 1cm. (Remember your most severe primary school teacher- exactly that.) Looking at his upset look, i didn't dare asking him to remove the tint stain all around my forehead so I'm walking around town with a bicolor forehead now. I didn't do any hairdresser school but I know how to treat hair a lot better than this man!
