I was ordered a wheelchair and it was delivered to me in rehab quickly. On top of it being quickly delivered it was a no fuss easy process. Fast forward 2.5 months later and the rubber came off the metal rim. I called the office and was instructed to send 3 pictures in to a phone number. The serial number, lot number/manufacture, and a photo of the problem. I sent them in and quickly got a response. They sent the information to the manufacture and within 2 days were ready to solve the issue.

I’m very happy with their customer service and timely service. Being a RN will allow me to spread just how wonderful this company treated me and how highly I recommend them. 10/10. Thank you for helping me in my time of need.

I gave them my prescription for a wheelchair they told me it would take a week to process it through Medicare. I told him to give me my prescription and info back he said he would go ask if they could make it sooner. He brought out a wheelchair that was uncomfortable and unacceptable I asked AGAIN for my prescription and info back and he brought me a copy of my prescription back with void written all over it. He said it was standard practice to shred the original. I hope these people didn't charge Medicare for a chair I haven't gotten and will probably need to go back to my doctor for a new prescription. I did not trust them the minute I walked in and should have followed my instincts and left. I feel as if they were in a hurry to charge Medicare for anything whether I was comfortable with it or not. Shady. I wouldn't do business with them.

I do not recommend this agency at all!!

I have just recently had a total knee replacement surgery. The Inpatient Rehab Hospital ordered some Forearm Crutches, for me from American Medical Products. The lady from American Medical Products called me to tell me they didn't have any in stock and I would have to wait a week. I said ok and then explained in detail to her that I needed forearm crutches with adjustable cuff height since my arms are unusually short.

The following Friday, instead of bringing forearm crutches, they delivered under-the-arm crutches which I can't use due to fusing in my wrist. I explained to the delivery man that they were the wrong type of crutch. He called someone and told me that the correct crutches would be delivered the following Friday. So I waited another week.

The next Friday, no one came to deliver anything so I called them. The lady talked to her manager and told me that since I had REFUSED the previous crutches, they would not deliver the new ones! She said I could come to their store if I wanted to.

I don't live in Hitchcock and I can't drive right now due to the surgery. Also I didn't REFUSE the crutches - they were the wrong kind, the company had ordered the incorrect ones, so I couldn't take them.

I definitely do not recommend this agency. They ordered the wrong equipment, made me wait 2 weeks, and after having confirmed Friday as the delivery date and not showing up, I had to call them, only to be told that they had decided not to deliver to me!!

Now I'm going to find a different medical supplies agency which I would have done 2 weeks ago if I had known how this agency was going to treat me!!

THE WORST customer service. First, they delivered the wrong wheelchair. Second, they said they talked to the "patient" (they didn't, you can't call her directly, she has severe dementia). Third, they informed us that a fully paralyzed person doesn't meet criteria for a wheelchair according to their "form." Fourth, they wouldn't tell us what was on their form that disqualified the patient. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Because sales associate, "Afshan" lied to me saying that insurance would not cover a transport chair which is the ONLY chair my mother needed as we were never going to file with insurance for a wheelchair, I self-paid $200 in full for the transport chair. After I found out insurance did, in fact, cover a transport chair, my insurance company contacted the American Medical Products manager, Wasif, who told my insurance company that he would refund $105.90 to us since this is the amount that is over the allowable amount of $94.10 that American Medical Products would have received if they had filed for insurance as they were rightfully supposed to have done. Wasif never refunded us the money. American Medical Products has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau because they NEVER responded to my complaint. My insurance company and I tried contacting/communicating with American Medical Products for MANY months. They began avoiding my and my insurance company's phone calls. They get an "F" rating with the BBB and a 1 star from me because they do NOT do what is right and they can NOT be trusted. And all over $105.90!

On 7/22/2021, I called the phone number that the "owner" said to call when he replied to this post. The owner does not respond to these posts. Wasif, the manager, does. I spoke with Wasif and he said that they do not even cover their costs if they file transport chairs through insurance; therefore, they will only sell transport chairs retail. Wasif was aware of my situation during the time I was requesting a refund for the amount in excess that I paid AMP over the insurance allowable amount., I explained again to him that his staff said that insurance did not cover transport chairs which was untrue. And I further explained to him that after I had to argue with his staff that insurance does, in fact, cover transport chairs and I had confirmation of that fact, His staff told me, well, yes, but insurance will only cover one chair every few years and the transport chairs are cheap and fall apart quickly and the customer calls them (AMP) wanting a different wheelchair, but is unable to file with insurance to get another one. And my response was if they are so cheap, then I don't want to spend $200 of my own money for one! But by that time, my mother came to live with me out of state and I was not able to get back to Webster, Texas to return it. Furthermore, not only did the employees at AMP avoid my calls, they would route me to only be able to leave a voicemail on a device that was not accepting voicemails. Being a business owner in America myself, I would have gladly refunded the $105.90 to the customer. That is such a small amount to help make up for the incredible lack of quality customer service and lack of professionalism from the employees who represent American Medical Products. Hence, this post stays active and they have a "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Confusing processing. The order and insurance is sent, they send back a questionnaire for medical necessity as if the order with the diagnosis was not enough. Liz and Olga are great, but the company makes it difficult. The order for a hoyer lift was impossible. They do not provide the lift if we don't order the hospital bed. We have one that is ours and do not need another. I called Medicare and they had never heard of it, but they were not available to talk to Medicare. After getting the wheelchair, I cancelled the order for the lift and processed it with another supplier. A different supplier for the oxygen. This was unnecessarily complicated. CSotomayor and A.R>

This company has horrible customer service I have spoken with a total of three people from this company and they were all rude I called back asking to speak to the president and I was told he was out and will not be back for 10 days then I asked to speak to the person in charge while he is away and was told he is in a meeting. I was a potential new patient/customer with the company have to agree with all the other reviews they are rude and they do have the worst customer service skills. The rating should allow a negative star
