An amazing team of amazing ladies. Hardworking reps that will get you in doors! I've gotten several Netflix, Hulu, FOX etc. auditions over the years. You get what you put in, but they are very apt on their end.

this is one of the WEAKEST agencies in Georgia. the owner, Barbara , has a very poor reputation, and many of her talent has left this agency due to her lack of communication, honesty and lack of respect for the talent. There are also several casting directors who dislike her lack of integrity and honesty. With all the good agencies there are here in Atlanta , this is one of the few to stay away from !!

I signed with ASA 10 months ago, not knowing what to expect. I’d been away from the industry almost 30 years raising our beautiful family. Coming back, and finding out EVERYTHING has changed was a bit overwhelming! ASA to the rescue! Every single one of the agents I’ve encountered here, Barbara, Jessica, Natalie, Katie-even assistants-have answered every question or request for help. Every. Single. One. Now, mind you I try to only ask important questions 😆, but they respond quickly and professionally. Everyone’s experience will be different of course, and I kind of think you get what you put into your work. That said, I haven’t gone more than 5-6 days between auditions in all these months, and they seem to come in multiples at that. As an actor trying to get this old foot back in the door, I can’t ask for more than what they’ve done. As far as I’m concerned, ASA is at the top of the food chain, and I’m glad they are in MY corner!

We were referred to this agency through a friend. On 1/3/21 they contacted us saying they were interested in representing our daughter and gave very strict and detailed instrux for submitting an audition tape. Okay, great. I was in the Navy Reserve for 25 years so I'm also big on details and following directions. It said to send us a tape "within 5 business days" and make sure it's on time. I'm also highly cognizant of deadlines being a former news reporter in my civilian job. So we prepared for this audition. My minor daughter spent a good amount of time preparing, coaching, memorizing lines and producing the audition for this agency. She's been cast in 60 roles and we approach each one as a professional; we submitted the tape 2 days after requested (3 days prior to their deadline). 6 days later I rec'd a notification from WeTransfer that our tape was never downloaded and "about to expire." (!) So I re-contacted the agency and they replied, "Oh, we've been so busy, can you resubmit?" sigh. (this was a 50 second tape, literally less than a minute to download). But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so I resubmitted everything again. Guess what happened? Six days later, still not downloaded. I received another reminder from WeTransfer that my 2nd tape was about to expire. I reminded them 1x time again, and then decided if they were "too busy" to look at the 1 minute tape they requested, did I really want these people representing my girl? I decided no. We are all busy. I get it. But if you're going to specifically ask a professional actor to take their time and tape an audition, then take your literal one minute of time and have the courtesy to look at it. Very simple. This was inconsiderate and unprofessional. turns out this was a blessing in disguise. Since then, our daughter has secured other representation who are responsive and professional and not into wasting our time, which is precious too. If you are doing everything professionally and everything asked for, but get treated poorly before even signing with an agency, time to move on for sure.

They will make you pay for professional taping services to even consider an actor for representation. I never heard of a SAG-AFTRA franchise agent in Georgia doing this as they will comment about the tape pretty extensively versus the actual talent. Thank god I went with another agency as I feel these agents lack industry experience. Maybe they should train some more.

Responding to Margret Stancil....... I am sorry you did not like my response to you. I'm not perfect, but I am for everyone who is trying to make it on this crazy journey. I would have been happy to continue a dialogue with you
Here was my response :
Great! Thank you so much for reaching out! I would love for you to do a couple of things:
1.Please send the same picture in an email with all of the things I will be asking you for.

2Tape him doing a slate. If you use a cell phone, please use the landscape setting. Have him say his name, age, height, and where he lives (ex. Atlanta, Georgia) . Also, I would love for him to tell me one thing he loves and why!

3. I have attached a very short script. Could you film him being Carter? Only Scene 1 is necessary. You can read the other parts. If he can memorize the lines, that would be perfect. If not, that is ok. Only show him on camera and you read off to the side or behind the camera. Please use the landscape setting.
4. If he has a resume, please send that to me. Also, tell me why HE wants to become an actor!

I know this seems like a lot, but please do not be overwhelmed. This is very typical of how an actual casting will be when he gets an audition.

I will be there to help and answer questions along the way. My daughter, who has Down Syndrome, can now do these things better than me!

Please, send all of these items back to me by Monday, December 28th. Also, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I started this journey with my daughter six years ago and it can be overwhelming. But, I am here to make us a family because we are all on a journey and need support along the way!
I look forward to seeing your son shine!! Lastly, I would love to know your name.
