First time here the other day. This was also the same day the SAG-AFTRA strike officially ended! 🎉 Just want to provide this info to help someone else who needs to investigate the parking situation beforehand like I tried to before my visit.

There are several parking garages nearby within less than a five minute walk. I found a great deck across the street from Tin Lizzy's near the intersection of Peachtree St and Andrew Young International Blvd. Central Casting is in building 235 on Peachtree behind the multilevel CVS.

There is a courtyard area behind CVS. You will enter the building in the revolving glass doors behind CVS after entering the courtyard area. Take the elevator up to the floor suite. Also, there is a bathroom on the same floor before the office suite doors, so do not fret. You will have time to pat down those frizzies before your headshot. Hope this info helps someone else! 😉

Mercedes and Rowena helped with the checkin and onboarding process when I arrived for my appointment. FYI they don’t accept digital identification make sure you bring your physical and original docs. Rowena took lovely photos for my portfolio and I loved the way they turned out. I am looking forward to getting casted on some TV/Movie/Commercials soon.

After relocating to Atlanta from Memphis, I was looking for a way to lightly enter into the film/entertainment world. I think they lost a lot of productions because of a lot of competition. In 2017 I got paid $340 / 12 hours and now they pay $152 to $168 /12 hours . I don’t think it is worth it the hustle. It should be the opposite when you have less gigs now the pay should be higher.

As long as you bring the necessary ID and follow registration instructions you csn be on your way to being a background actor. Located inside of PeachTree Center with a friendly staff.

Update - Did take over year to finally get a check in the mail. After many phone calls and re submitting lots of paperwork that had already been submitted to them. Finally got paid. A whole year later in 2023 after the episode was released. 0/10 do not recommend. I took my 9 month old for a background job in APRIL 2022. It’s JULY 20th 2022 and still haven’t had any luck getting that payment. 3 months later, and they said they need more paperwork? But I filled everything out the day of the “job”. Very unprofessional.
