The amount of work and attention to detail that has gone into this experience is inspiring. My family and I stayed at The Hobbit treehouse. We were looking for a place to relax, reconnect with nature, and bond closely as a family. This experience was that and more. Very thankful for the patience and care Trista gave our little ones during the horse riding lessons. Our oldest (pre-teen) selecting Lucky as her riding horse, the older more persistent horse, was enjoyable and comedic as life dished back some of the tenacity she shows us lately. An easy 10/10 experience. We hope to be back and recommend to any small family looking to have a great time in an intimate setting. Wonderful and memorable time.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was so wonderful and relaxing! We had trouble with the hot tub on the first day and the team was quick to respond and assure us we weren’t doing anything wrong. The cold front was causing it to struggle to get up to temp- the rest of the trip it was nice and toasty! Hiking around the grounds was beautiful- we had fun finding all the decorations they had out. Particularly in the fairy forest, it was super cute and fun! We also enjoy getting to know and love on the animals and picking fresh eggs; very unique experience! Trista was also so sweet- told us all about the animals and her time working for this wonderful ranch. It was so lovely getting to unplug and relax together as newly weds. The ranch is going to hold a fond place in our hearts and we will be planning another trip back! Maybe in the warmer months next time so we can enjoy the water activities too.

So glad my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The sundancer is beautiful! It had everything we needed for the weekend! We enjoyed being surrounded by the trees. It was so relaxing! We also enjoyed the activities at the ranch. Our most favorite was the river and the animals. The owner/staff were quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at the Magical Treehouse at the end of September and it was indeed magical! The interior is decorated beautifully- there is something to look at everywhere you turn. The outdoor space is also amazing- plenty of seating, large grill, and the dining table is just spectacular! My favorite part was sitting on the back porch at night and being pleasantly surprised by all of the different lights in the trees that lit up as it got dark. We also fed the animals with Trista which was a lot of fun! We will definitely be back!

This place is magical! We had an amazing getaway at the Hobbit Treehouse! The property is just beautiful and so peaceful. The owners are so kind and helpful with anything you could possibly need during your stay. It’s very private which we loved. We highly recommend Fuller’s Folly River Ranch!

I brought my family to The Hobbit Treehouse for a surprise getaway for my husbands birthday. I didn’t tell anyone where we were going but just gave them a list of what to bring. I told them to pack some board games too… when we got there my girls (ages 12,10 and 7) were overwhelmed with excitement that we were staying in an actual treehouse! They ran around exploring everything they could and finding all the hidden treasures that are scattered around the property. We brought our family dog Millie who had the time of her life! We spent time together tubing and kayaking the river, making Follycorns, playing games, talking and laughing nonstop. We ate meals together outside under the magical lights that are all around the the trees. My kids did not once ask for a phone. I never once wished I could just sit and watch tv. It was the best bonding experience with my family that I could have asked for. Not only was the experience priceless but the amenities of the house are top notch. The shower is straight up luxurious and the beds are so comfortable! We stayed for three nights and when it was time to go my kids begged me to stay. All three of my girls and my husband want to make this a family tradition and go every year and honestly I do too. My middle daughter is adamant that when she is older she wants to live there. I highly recommend everyone to stay at The Hobbit Treehouse!

Oh we couldn't say more about this place! So much to do! We stayed in the farm house, 2 families of 4 and dogs! We all fit! The dogs had a blast with all the space to run! The nearby barn was a cool hangout for the kids. Cheeto the barn cat is so sweet and friendly. She was very tolerant of the dogs. Trista was so informative and insightful with the kids at the barn. She made us feel welcome and you can tell she works really hard to make everything run as well as accommodating. The river was alot more .... well more then we expected. It was big and the islands in the middle are cool hangout areas. Not just the kids but everyone loved the petrified rock station and fairy forest. Like I said so much to do. We loved the farm house with its wrap around porch and sunsets as well. Best location on ranch if you ask me. The extra half bathroom was so needed with 8 people. The only downside was the TV wasn't working for us and too many remotes to figure out. We wanted to watch a scary movie. Luckily the wifi worked well and we were able to cast from our phone. If that's the only downside then that's pretty awesome especially since you should be toasting marshmallows and enjoying the outside playing games etc. We just were in the mood since we were under a burn ban. Anyway for an affordable family experience and get together this IS the place to go! We will be back!

The Grand Poobah and I had a great weekend stay at the Hobbit House. It was just us two for night #1, the grandsons (ages 9 and 11) spent day #2 with us. All had a blast.

The boys so enjoyed exploring the ranch and visiting all its barnyard friends. I'm a sucker for critters too. Cheeto with Tomcat Tours was the best guide EVER! This super affectionate orange tabby picked us up at the red barn and insisted giving us the grand walking tour of the grounds and dropped us off at our cabin where he played and entertained us for a bit. He is the sweetest, we were all big fans of our new furry friend. We might have more photos and videos of that darn cat than the kids! If Cheeto ever needs another home, we get first dibs!

Besides Cheeto, the grandsons loved the waterfall, hot tubbin' in the rain and the super cool upstairs hideout. The 11 year old said his favorite part of Hobbit House was all the little detailed vignettes all throughout the ranch - even the whimsical fairies and funny looking gnomes, crystals hanging from trees and more.

The accommodations at the Hobbit House were very clean and comfortable. However at 5'1' a pogo stick to get into bed would've been helpful. Having no television or computers/video games and truly disconnecting was awesome . . . well, for me anyway. 😛

p.s. Trista, the ranch manager was very responsive to any questions. She joyfully allowed an extra long barnyard feeding time experience to accommodate our special needs grandson's anxiety. She was very sweet and patient. <3 Thank you Bill, Linda and Trista for a memorable weekend getaway!
