Great place! Everything was as expected. Pictures are definitely accurate. The location is so close to many wineries and downtown Fredericksburg. Even Luckenbach is just down the road. It is perfect for visiting any part of the hill country. An added bonus is the convenient gas station around the corner. The host was very kind. We would be happy to stay here again.

I coordinated and attended a wedding this weekend for a family member. It is such a beautiful event and Debbie, the owner, couldn’t have been nicer. She was so responsive and helpful. There is an outside courtyard, as shown in the picture, for the ceremony, the pavilion for the reception, and two cabins for guests. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, and spacious living/dining area. I highly recommend this venue if you have 60 people or less as 60 is the max it can hold. I also think it’s a great value.

We had our wedding here over the weekend and first let me just say this property is nothing short of breathtaking. From the beautiful Texas sunset back drop behind the hand built stone arch, to the cozy fire place in the pavilion, to the unconditional kindness and hospitality from the owner, Debbie. If I could give them 50 stars I would. Our wedding was truly a fairytale & we can’t thank y’all enough!

This place is incredible! Our coaching company has now hosted two LifePlan retreats here with 20-25 each time in the Pavilion. All of the facilitators were able to stay on the property in the beautiful cabin & house over the weekend, so it was the perfect set up! There are many times throughout the retreat where we ask our attendees to work on individual exercises, and there are so many beautiful and quiet places to spread out on the property to relax and enjoy the scenery. It was just what we were hoping for, and all the attendees loved it!
Debbie is the owner and she is extremely accommodating, thoughtful and answered any questions we had. She was a delight to work with! HCPL manages the property, and working with them was seamless as well.
No expense was spared in making sure this property is well maintained and provides a quality and "homey" place to stay. On Friday night, we hosted a charcuterie & wine happy hour in the house and it had plenty of room around the island for great conversations and drinks.
The Pavilion is a fantastic place to host any small-medium sized event -- they have everything you need, including a fridge and a hookup for music that plays in the room as well as the beautiful courtyard.
This was the perfect setting for lives to be refreshed and changed, and we will definitely be back to host events in the future! Thanks for sharing your peaceful and welcoming property with us!

Beautiful cabin, very friendly owners and the location was great. We were right down the road from Luckenbach, Fredericksburg main st. and all the local wineries.

Great little place.
On the property, there are two living locations right next to each other separated by a walkway (one building is "north", the other essentially the main house is "east") On the opposite side of the "north" building you will see a pavilion. In the center of all three buildings is a courtyard with artificial turf. On the west side of the courtyard, you will see a brick wall with lighting. This is set up well for evening sunset watching.

You will have access to Netflix and other services with the fire TV in the living room. You will find on the opposite side of parking "north" of the "north" building a small pavilion with a BBQ grill. The tenants next to me and the wife said that the propane regulator was not working that was connected to the tank. There is internet, not the fastest but fast enough to do your work. Oh, don't worry about grilling utensils, eating utensils, etc. just check the top drawers. They have a glass jar on the counter for you to contribute a wine bottle cork to the stash.

There is alot going on in this place, you will enjoy it! If you don't...well get out and let me stay there for you :).

Great experiance! Beautiful very clean like new home. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and bar area were great for guests that visited us. By far the nicest Air B&B we've ever stayed at. We will return to Gateway Gathering.

We had the privilege of visiting this place a little over a month ago. My daughter got engaged and they were staying at this place. She had no clue we were all there waiting on her it was a surprise. We had cooked some snacks and was in the court yard area playing corn home and can jam minding our own business and the other people that were staying in the other house was out there enjoying and playing as well.

About two hours later this lady appears and is videoing asking are y’all having a party. Then asked for Sorensen (my too be son in law) since he is the one that booked it thru an air bnb. This lady was extremely rude and took him to the side of the house. My daughter got my attention because this lady was pointing her finger in his face and yelling at him. At this point I walked over there. I was appalled the way this lady thought she could talk to him this way. Jeff assured her we were not breaking any rules and no one that was not suppose to stay there was not staying. The lady cha fed her attitude when I walked up she was the most rude person I have ever met. Nothing was done against the rules and jeff communicated with the place he booked they. This lady was so out of hand called the police and the police said they have done nothing wrong. Apparently this is not the first time for her to do this. They took photos of the place when they checked out and they house was left immaculate. They have since gotten a letter she was trying to get kk way for damages. There were no damages and the folks that rented the other house can vouch for this as well. This lady is crazy.

This place is beautiful but they are only trying to rip people off she watches her ring door bell to monitor what you do and then she taunts you. So for a day that was suppose to be super special this lady sure tried to ruin it. There was not one thing about her property damages at all ans all the trash was disposed of properly etc.

Please don’t stay at this location it will be a nightmare. Beautiful place terrible owners. I have never stayed in a place where the owners were ever this rude. And we travel a lot and go to Fredericksburg often but this will be one place taken off the list due to the owner.

It’s awful to have such a great venue but terrible ownership/management.

Our attorney is now involved and with us having pictures and all correspondence maybe we will actually get a refund due to her actions. Ridiculous. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE DUE TO THE OWNERSHIP
