We would like to thank Damian from Niceland for the excellent and very professional preparation of our trip to Alaska. The expedition was planned perfectly in every detail. A varied, comprehensive sightseeing program that is easy to follow. We had our own transport with a rented car. We were ensured maximum safety at every stage. Constant contact with the organizer gave a sense of confidence and allowed us to adapt the travel plan to current conditions. It was a great choice!!! We are very pleased! Our trip to Alaska far exceeded our expectations. Elizabeth did an awesome job of lining up our lodging and booking all of our excursions. Since Alaska is so large, traveling from place to place can consume a lot of time. Elizabeth was able to customize our travel to limit long travel days. Having the local knowledge and experience, she was also able to point us in the right direction for some day hikes and preparation for such things as bear spray and what roads to travel or not travel on. Our highlights included Denali flightseeing, Kenai Fjords wildlife/glacier boat tour, Denali wilderness tour, and a ½ day train ride to Grandview. Being a local small company, we found the attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend using Handpicked Alaska, especially if you are interested in a more custom itinerary and Alaska experience.

Four couples had a fabulous 11 day Alaska land trip. We gave Elizabeth our dates and she did the rest. We began in anchorage then went to Denali, Palmer, Seward and then Homer. We saw grizzlies, caribou and moose. Had trek on a glacier and a helicopter ride to a sled dog camp where we got to experience mushing. Had a great boat trip through kenai fjords national park. Oh yeah, and salmon fishing. It was very skillfully planned and everything went smoothly. Our accommodations were all wonderful and Elizabeth’s recommendations for restaurants were fabulous. Couldn’t recommend this group more highly.

I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Elizabeth and Hand Picked Alaska!! Our 11 day trip that she planned was honestly perfect!!! The pace of the trip, excursions, accomodations and restaurant suggestions were all fabulous. Each day was fantastic but somehow the following day was even better! She stays in such close contact with you and responds almost immediately if you have a question or concern. If you are going to Alaska- and you SHOULD- you would be crazy not to use Hand Picked Alaska!

Beautiful mountains with the peak of Denali, wild animals walking in the area, a walk on the glacier, light for almost 20 hours a day is just a small part of what you can experience in Alaska.

We’ve not booked a holiday through a travel agent before as we’ve always thought it meant compromising on our dream holiday. But we’re so glad we did this time as Elizabeth was able to build us our perfect Alaska trip. What we pre-booked (car rental, accommodation & multiple trips) were all amazing. And then when we had questions or extra trips we wanted to book whilst there, Elizabeth was able to send us great additional recommendations (or in some cases, rightly point me back to what she’d already added as options in the tailored itinerary she’d already given us). Highlights were the glacier hike & bear viewing trip but we loved everything we did (some very non-professional photos below). I can’t speak more highly of the trip, the package and the support whilst we were there. If you’re thinking about booking with Handpicked Alaska - go for it!!!

We availed the services of Niceland in September while planning our honeymoon trip to Alaska. We had a week to explore, and considering the limited time, we decided to take help from professionals. Damian prepared an excellent plan for us, which allowed us to visit all the major sites in Alaska. A big advantage was the flexibility to adjust the plan according to the changing weather, maintaining contact throughout the day. Our adventure began with an exciting helicopter flight, landing on a glacier near Palmer, where there is a training center for husky sled dogs. Then we headed towards Denali, where we got the opportunity to admire the majestic peak during a flight around the park. Undoubtedly, it was one of the highlights of our trip, and the view of the park from this perspective was an amazing experience. Our journey continued with a hike on the Matanuska glacier and an overnight stay in tents, from which the view of the glacier unfolded. We ended our trip with a cruise in Kenai Fjords and a trek along the Exit Glacier. In addition to the tourist attractions included in the brochure, we found many useful tips and interesting facts. Moreover, we met Damian personally in Anchorage, he's a very friendly guy who even lent us a bear spray, which we forgot to buy in our haste. We wholeheartedly recommend his services 🙂
