Did a 1 hour tour with Captain Rick yesterday- since everyone in the tour arrived early he left 10 minutes early- and still went the regular hour- nice!
We are not sure if we hit a busy-dolphin time of year in the water or we just got lucky as we were seeing dolphins nearly the entire time with a few minutes in between sightings. And we all loved being out on the water!
Our captain Rick knew the water well and had good instincts re where to look. He also was very personable, answering frequent questions about dolphin behavior, mating, the bay, hurricanes etc with interesting and sensible answers.
Well worth the time spent- glad we did the trip!

Captian Rick gave my 93yo Father (and other family members) the best boat tour he ever had! He knew all the birds and we saw so many kinds. Rick was informative without being a lecturer, just so helpful. We learned all about the dolphins and saw many, including a pair that appeared in our sunset videos. This is a very affordable and private experience for a small group. Highly recommended.

Captain Deb is the best. We had a wonderful fun and dolphin filled tour. We were lucky to see a lot of dolphins, and Captain Deb kept us entertained with so many amazing stories and facts about dolphins and other wildlife! Highly recommended!

My wife, son and grandson had a tremendous time on this tour. We saw dolphins for the entire 60 minute tour and Rick was a wealth of knowledge!! We highly recommend this for the entire family.

My family and I just finished our cruise with Captain Deb and it was fantastic! Captain Deb was a phenomenal guide and gave good context to the areas and wildlife we saw. She made everyone on the boat feel welcome and answered all our questions. We had a blast and I recommend this cruise and captain to anyone looking to take their family out on an adventure!

This was our second trip to HHI, and our second dolphin tour! It has been the highlight of our trip both times! This time, we had an unexpected change of plans, which required my parents (who we were treating to a 50th Anniversary celebration trip!) to leave a day early. We had originally planned to do our tour the day we left in the morning—a perfect ending to any trip—but now they wouldn’t even be able to experience it. So, I texted the owner and explained the situation, and she responded immediately with 2 alternate times we could attend prior to their departure! When we arrived on the boat, they also had a lovely little gift bag for my parents, as I had explained we were there for their 50th! We had another perfect outing, seeing loads of dolphins, and enjoying simply being together and relaxing on the boat! The Captain is very nice and knowledgeable—we will do a dolphin tour at Tale Hunter every time we come to Hilton Head! The memories are totally worth it, and it was just as special the second time as it was the first time!!

Great value! Saw so many dolphins and right up close. Captain was very knowledgeable and answered questions as they arose. Being on the smaller boat compared to some of the larger cruises out there meant getting to get closer to the dolphins.
