This agency made my daughter a star. From the moment we stepped foot into this agency, she was treated with the utmost respect. Cyril, Robert, and MC were always very supportive and responsive to any concerns. The lines of communication were always open and we never felt any reticence about talking to them about any concerns. As for payment for jobs, it’s upsetting to read other reviews that talk about not getting paid—that was absolutely never an issue for the years my daughter worked for them before she moved to New York. She was paid fairly and on time for every single job.

Within 6 months of signing with Look, they put her in front of a scout from IMG and she was signed to them immediately. I owe this 100% to Look Model Agency, whose connections got her foot in the door with them. This agency understands the industry in a way that sets their models up for successful careers. They understand each model’s potential and helps to set them on a path that is right for each model. I know this because my daughter was rejected 3 times from another well-known agency known for signing tons of models and then never booking them for work—their loss, Look’s gain! I have truly appreciated the care, development, and encouragement they gave my daughter in the early stages of her career. She honestly would not be where she is today without Look Model Agency. Simply the best there is in the Bay Area!

I really enjoyed working with Look Model Agency. 5 stars on everything. Robert the booking agent was professional and communicative, very helpful. The models were on time, pleasant and professional. We had a fun, productive day of photoshooting. Will definitely work with them again.

This agency runs scams on their models and unfortunately I was one of them. I first signed with them when I was 23 year old and one of their agents, Ellisa sent me to a photographer for photos for my portfolio. I paid the photographer $600 and the photographer, Deidre in Santa Cruz, refused to give me my photos. I was really young and didn't understand the industry or what it was to be taken advantage of so I let it go. You should always receive your photos after paying for them. They let this agent go but years later (now) I'm having issues with them again. Now (7 years later) I was paid for a modeling job with Native and I had asked for over two months where my paycheck was and my agent Robert Bala kept telling me he did not have it and the client had not sent it over yet. By the second month I contacted the owner Cyril Kollock and he completely ignored my email. I then showed up to the office (three months after my shoot) and Robert continued to lie to me and tell me he had no clue where my check was. After over 90 days my agent in LA told me to tell them I was going to contact the client if they did not pay me and they paid me immediately. I contacted the client anyways and she sent me proof that they paid them four days after my shoot, which means they withheld my paycheck for over 3 months. The fact that I had issues with them at 23 and 30 says doing shady business is apart of their company culture. It's really sad that models get taken advantage of in the industry. I have proof of everything I am saying. There are better, more moral and ethical agencies out there. Beware of Cyril Kollock and Robert Bala they will lie to you and avoid paying you YOUR money. They have unethical business practices.

It's been awhile since being represented by this agency, but my experience was always excellent. They are very professional and had plenty of jobs to keep me busy! Al was my Booker and although it's been many years we still stay in touch with each other. I was a teen at the time so he developed a great relationship with my Mother as well which made things great!

A San Francisco original, LOOK is a boutique agency that still feels like family. From founder Marie-Christine Kollock to her son Cyril Kollock, and agents Robert Bala and Ellisa Worley, the support they give my teen daughter couldn't be better. It's certainly given her confidence in the world.

My daughter was 14 when she walked into Look's office with a Costco envelope of 8x10s, and met with (or was seen by) Mme. Kollock and New Faces agent Ingrid. Since then she's had amazing jobs with top tech companies in Silicon Valley, & tech retailers; which were the best first jobs a high schooler could ask for! She absolutely loves it, and it's opened her horizons for her future.

The crew at Look are quick and responsive, and we have also witnessed the extra care & support they give to the people they employ .... which may be why they run a better, smaller ship.

Obvious to us- what you get from this experience depends on what you put into it..... definitely 'make your own adventure'.
