My first and last time working for this agency. The main issue is how long it takes for them to send payment. 30-90 days is very inconvenient and unusual with other BA agencies. The other issue is that the check in/check out process is more complicated where you have to submit a whole questionnaire/quiz instead of just pressing clock in. This long and inconvenient process to check in can delay and impact your time/payment, since one of the requirements is to have a store manager sign, many of them are very busy and in a big store would be difficult to call and wait. This company has a “$15 for 15minutes late” along with in case of a last minute emergency and you can’t show, you have to pay THEM $100. This is not a common practice in this industry, I have worked with multiple different agencies and never experienced anything similar to this. I feel the need to let other local BA friends I know to never get with M&G.

The actual activation was a disappointment since the store did not even have the product in stock for the demo.

I worked for them as a brand ambassador. On the contract it say pay out is 30 to 90 days and I got my payment sooner to my surprise it was a delight. Jessica Kistler is a wonderful person. She replies about immediately within minutes!! She answers questions about the event and pay out!

I really wish I had checked the reviews prior to booking an event because now I see why everyone had givin them 1 star.

I was sent a booking through a trusted friend who had worked with them in the pasted I booked the sampling for white claw a quick over the phone conversation nothing like an interview and that was it.
To make a long story short 2 months later I still have yet to be paid for this job I have contacted their accounting team and everytime the days go from 30 days to pay out to 60 now to 90 days. I will never book with them again I have never in life worked a job and had to fight to get paid I will absolutely be filing a claim
To the better business because they should be ashamed

I am not surprised so many others have encountered the same issues with M&G that I did. I was scheduled to work a demo for them, but there were some glaring omissions in the event description. My attempts to reach out for clarification went ignored, but I still did my part, showed up to work the demo, and was turned away at the job site (due to those issues I'd tried to clear up ahead of time, specifically the licensing requirements).

M&G refused to take responsibility and pay me. So I sent a mass e-mail to all their BAs, warning them about how I was treated, and that finally got me paid.

This was years ago, and I'm saddened to see this company is still in business, and others are having similar experiences.

scam. I thought I'd take a chance and find out for myself after reading ALL of the negative reviews and comments. And boy, did I find out ! Spelled my name wrong on the 1st 3 checks they issued me (3 months after the gigs, mind you) and after the 3rd time, they had the nerve to tell me I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE $35 CHECK RE ISSUING FEE to correct the spelling of MY NAME. Because you're spelling my name wrong over and over again? A bank won't cash a check if it is spelled wrong. my payment info is literally the mobile signature on my email. Absolutely not. They are ALL over the place with WAY TOO many hands in the pot. If they promise to pay you for travel time, they simply do not. & ignore you when you ask about it. After 3 or 4 checks, that adds up. Especially when you're driving 3 hours away for the gig!

I do not recommend doing work for this agency - everything has been a nightmare from bookings, lack of directions, unprofessionalism, and the worst - getting paid.

Any job where you have to ask for your paycheck - IS A SCAM. They do not understand or abide by the laws in other states where they do business. They made me sign up with this agency after I did the work, with no mention of it before. So in order to get paid, you have to sign their 'modeling' contract after already completing the job? Hmmm
They did this to the other model too, and we had a texting conversation that went on for weeks to find out if each other had been paid yet.

I had a bad first experience with them where the cancelled the zoom onboarding meeting with me and the other new model, and we literally had no direction on what to do when we got to an event - there was nothing set up. Very strange. They had us go around to a list of different bars they gave us, however one of the bars was at capacity with a super long line and the bouncers didn't want to let us in so we went to the next one - and then this agency caused drama because of this. Not okay.

They tried to book me for another event and had me confirm availability. I confirmed I was available and then they turned around and asked to book me. Now it is two days before I was supposed to work and I emailed them for clarity when I noticed the dates changed on the event, and they email me back an official 'release dates,' for the booking and tell me the client went with someone else... which is not what happened because they told me the client wanted to book me and texted and emailed me asking to confirm the booking. This is upsetting because I already planned on working the 5 days and told other gigs that I was booked. Pretty sure this is not legal.

So now I've had two bad experiences after only working with them for 3 months? Save yourself some stress and just decline their offers.

An M&G Executive Assistant deactivated my account and falsely labeled me as having an attitude and being unprofessional, when I have absolutely no idea what she was referring to because she wouldn't tell me a thing.  I asked for proof that showed me having an attitude and lacking professionalism, or at least whatever comments were supposedly received.  My request was ignored... What's unprofessional is deactivating my account based on hearsay, and not even elaborating on the details and not giving me a chance to tell my side of the story before just hastily removing me from their database.  I had responded to a handful of BAs less than a year ago saying negative things about Michele & Group on the 'Beware of Bad Staffing Agencies' facebook page and actually stuck up for them.  I couldn't understand what they were talking about, but now I know.  I sincerely apologize to those BAs...

I've done quite a bit of modeling since I was young and Michele & Group is superlative to many other agencies.
The models are extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff is very well organized and tentative at getting the talent recognized and booked.
