Went to Shockey Stables for my wife and I's wedding anniversary. Ms. Judy was super sweet, hilarious, patient, & an all around great teacher. Horses did an amazing job and so did Ms. Judy and her staff. We will DEFINITELY return to do more business!

This was our first time riding horses, and it was a great time! Judy and all of the employees made us feel so welcome, and helped with any jitters.
They were so wonderful with the kids- I wouldn’t have changed a thing! 👍

I have ridden horses all my life, and owned them for almost the same amount. That being said, I informed Miss Shockey of this the first time I rode, and she did believe me, and treated me with great respect.

There were other members of my party who did not have the same experience as I did, but she was patient and matched the horses perfectly to their needs.

Rudest customer service I have ever experienced. They do not understand any equine medical questions nor lunge line as an equestrian term and have no idea what green broke is as an equestrian term and can't answer questions like that because it bothers them. So, do beware, be very beware.

I scheduled a trail ride for my brother and I and upon arrival we were greeted very kindly by the owner, Ms.Judy! The horses looked to be in great condition, well fed and very loved. Ms. Judy allowed my brother and I time to get comfortable with our horses and since my brother hadn’t ridden much, he was able to get some time to learn the basics. The smile on his face when he trotted behind me for the first time was so awesome to capture. After that, we hit the trails and got many pictures of us, did some trotting, and had some fun in the “fun area” where barrels and cones were set up. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable, the staff was friendly, and the horses were very well behaved. Ms. Judy was a joy to meet and work with and has a lovely property. Thank you for such a fun experience!

We got a group of us together and decided to sign up for the hour ride at Shockley Stables, and I’ll tell you what….we will defenitely be repeat customers! They were so welcoming! All but one of us were new riders but left feeling super confident! The trails are well maintained and beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!! Thank you guys for an amazing experience!

Ms. Judy was recommended by trusted friends of ours and we couldn’t have had a better time there if we tried! They were patient and kind, and taught us everything we needed to know as newbies. We wanted to ride to see if horses are something we might be interested in as a family, and our experience here sealed the deal- we’re addicted! Highly recommend!
