This place is fantastic. A 3 minute walk to the base of the mountain and gondola. It’s quiet at night. There’s a shuttle across the street to get into town. Wild Plum is across the street for last minute groceries. Our apartment had everything we needed. The fire place was an added touch to dry our wet clothing at night. The hot tub was hot and easy to access. The elevator did break the second night there so if you don’t like to carry things or walk this might be a problem. Our fridge also had a leak and the shelves were covered in water and kept freezing. Otherwise no complaints. Cooked all meals in house. Two bedroom/two bathrooms with a parking pass. Stayed in 105.

This is a very good location at the base area - 200 yard walk to the gondola. The closest non luxury location available. Room 210 is modest with older styling and furniture, but clean and well kept. And it is large as are presumably all the 2br units - large bedrooms and large living room. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor porch was a nice. The hot tub and pool area is very well maintained in winter - the hot tub was hot, not lukewarm, and large. Did not try the pool but it was open and getting frequent use. Parking was always available below the unit - although we were warned that it sometimes fills up. Food options are limited in the base area and we generally found better options driving to downtown so expect to either drive to skiing or drive to food in Steamboat.

The shuttle bus driver was driving quite aggressively. It was snowing and the car in front of the bus slowed down in a turn about, seems like it was skidding a bit. The bus didn’t slow down at all and passed the car on the left. I think the bus driver could be driving more carefully, especially when the weather was not ideal. I was here for vacation with my family and I wanted to have a safe and fun trip.

The condos are clean and more than adequate for a nice stay. The condos lack more modern and high end amenities and decor. For example, they just have a standard cheap fridge, basic dishwasher and a basic Mr. Coffee pot. Our condo did have a stacked washer and dryer, which if I had known about I could have packed fewer clothes. The counter tops and furniture are simple, but again very functional. The units have good cable channels, and free wifi, with plenty of bandwidth for watching videos and movies on your devices. The balcony was small and ours did not have much of a view. The bathrooms were nice, and had great water pressure. We were there with a group, and they allowed us to use a conference room, which was nice. It was close to the gondola and the slopes, but certainly not ski-in/ski-out by any means. My only real complaint is that check out was 10:00 (seems a little early) and they required we gather and take out our trash before we leave (not a big deal, but it just seems the maid service could take the trash out when they cleaned the room since we had to be out by 10:00).

We stayed in room 306 (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom). The size of the condo was fine for our family of 3. The kitchen was functional and adequate for our needs (breakfast and the occasional dinner). The lounge / dining area was large enough for 3-4 permanent guests and also for one evening where we hosted 7 for dinner. The two bathrooms were clean and functional.||The main highlights were the reasonable price (and hence do not expect 4/5 star - it is reasonable budget accommodation) and the location (right behind 1 Steamboat Place). This is a five minute walk to the Gondola and a five minute walk to the bus interchange.||Unlike most accommodation on the snow Snow Flower Condos do not operate their own shuttle service. This is not a major issue as Steamboat has an excellent free bus service that runs regular trips between the Snow, Down Town and the main Condo locations. You can even track the location of each bus using the transit service website site.

This location can't be beat. It's close to everything! The condos are well laid out and parking is a breeze. We are staying in a very small condo, but it faces the mountain so the view is spectacular. Every condo has its own small patio, the pool is small but definitely nice. We're staying in the summer, but I suspect the heated pool and over large hot tub is exquisite after a day of skiing. I would've given this a 5 star, but the storage space in our condo is sparce, but manageable. I would highly recommend this place.
