My wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay at Haven. The small town and country atmosphere really allow for rest and relaxation. We hope to go back soon for a future visit and possibly host a family reunion here! The cabins on the property are perfect for a multi-family event.

Absolutely The perfect location for a Silent Retreat. William is an amazing host. His food was made with so much love. How can gluten-free dairy free food taste this good it must be the anointing of the Lord no seriously it’s an amazing location. It is a Victorian home so the rooms are older but if I needed anything, William was there to fix it. We already booked our next retreat.

We’ve stayed at the HRI multiple times in the last 13 years, and have enjoyed each and every one. The Inn’s peace and quiet setting are much welcomed features in this fast-paced world. The rooms are extremely clean and nicely decorated. The rocking chairs on the large porch are the perfect remedies for total relaxation and some catch-up reading. Their breakfasts are delicious and provide a great way for starting the day. Numerous restaurants and shopping stores are conveniently close and the Buckhorn Golf Course is right across the street. If you’re in search of lodging in a wonderfully peaceful setting close to all the essentials, the Haven River Inn makes for an ideal getaway. Whether you’re looking for a room, a cottage, or a cabin, they have it all!

The location is definitely beautiful and relaxing. The service was okay, and the food could use improvement. The rooms are cute and have a dated feel to them. My only feedback was that it was quite warm throughout the house. I was able to stay cool in my room because of the window ac unit.

We hosted a bridal shower at Haven River Inn. The setting was beautiful both inside the inn and outdoors. I can’t say enough great things about how helpful the staff was in planning, catering, and special requests. The food was yummy, the prices reasonable and the setting was darling.

We Had our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner on the porch at the Haven in 2021. William was very easy to work with and was very accommodating. Our wedding happened to be the year of the freeze so we couldn’t have guests stay in the rooms at the haven as originally planned. (So I haven’t seen the new renovations of the rooms but they look really great) Thus the haven worked with us and helped us with the changes as much as they could. I was very thankful for their efforts. The property is gorgeous, the views were magical and so romantic from the porch- where we had our rehearsal dinner party and wedding brunch reception. The little cabins were adorable, my family was able to stay at the three little cabins overnight. I didn’t want the day to end it was so beautiful! And our wedding pictures were really beautiful as well, so many little spots to choose from!

My husband and I went for a 2 night stay Monday-Wednesday. The place is so quiet and perfect for rest. The room was clean and the king bed had the BEST sheets. Cool. The 3 windows in our 2nd story room looked right through the trees so we felt like we were staying in a tree house. The AC worked great. Most of comfort is closed on Mon and Tues so we rested in our room, brought lunch and used the swimming pool. The kitchenette on the end of the hall is perfect for bringing food and drinks with us. I would highly recommend.
