With Captain Nate we went on a Charter in the Caribbean for one week and visited many different islands. He knows the islands so well and picked out the best anchorages, restaurants and hikes for us.
The captain for sure knows what he's doing and you can tell that sailing is his big passion. Looking forward to the next Charter in May with True sailing (and the new drinks and snacks catering service!😍)

The 2-hour cruise around lower Manhattan was amazing. Captain Nate is not only a great captain, he is also the kind of guy you can have a drink with afterwards. From the minute he meets you at the dock he is warm and inviting and you can tell he loves what he does and he wants you to love it to. I love taking photos and Nate was very accommodating making sure he got me to the best places to shoot an epic sunset over lower Manhattan. This honestly was one of the best experiences I have ever had and I can’t recommend it enough. It is worth every penny!

This will be your favorite thing you've ever done in New York!

I'm a full time traveler but New York City is my home-base for the last ten years. A few weeks ago I was home and joined some friends in booking this 42' sailboat for a sunset cruise on Manhattan! I have NEVER had a better night in New York! One of my favorite travel tips is change your perspective - and seeing New York from the water does just that! The views of the skyline were incredible and the captain, Nate, sailed us right by the Statue of liberty! We had drinks and snacks and it was really a magical evening!

Nate is awesome, chill, and feels more like your expert sailor friend than boat captain. He's the perfect guy to take your around his luxury sailboat and make you feel like a celebrity for the evening!

The boat fits six, so go with friends and this is a steal! Much better than a broadway show ticket or overpriced meal - go experience Manhattan with True Sailing!

We chartered a 4 hour sunset cruise with cocktails last summer with friends and had an amazing experience. The views of the NYC skyline are breathtaking, and we got to sailed around the Statue of Liberty.

Overall the True Sailing crew is very knowledgeable and we felt that we were in the hands of experienced sailors. They worked with us to avoid a less than optimal weather.

I just scheduled another voyage with them for a team building later this summer.

BEST/MOST AFFORDABLE SAILING IN NYC! The captain prepares a trip but is completely open to suggestions and customizing your trip!

True Sailing has taken my friends and I on SUNRISE SAILS at a discount we heard about from following his instagram page-- The owner is always open to new business and just wants people to experience sailing in NYC!

From dance parties to silent mediation sunrise cruises, I've done them all with True Sailing and will continue to get new friends to do the same! It's a great way to show friends visiting a special AFFORDABLE way to see the city!

I couldn't rate this place more highly!!! Captain Nate is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. My friends and I had never been to the area and we wanted our experience to be special despite being tourists. True Sailing delivers on all fronts. Nate was superbly professional, but beyond his professionalism he makes you feel like coming back just because of the atmosphere he curates. 10/10!!!!!

We went in a group for an afternoon sail and we had a blast! It was 6 of us and the captain with his crew. They provided drinks throughout the trip which were delicious. The trip was about 2 hours and you can lay all around the front of the boat which is clean and tidy. The bathroom was well kept and easy to use. The captain and crew were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely book again!!

We had an amazing time with Captain Nate. He’s a great sailor and is willing to teach you everything he can about sailing. We also were greeted with amazing service. Nate went above and beyond and we will be booking again.
